The matcher
Cheap rules first, embeddings next, an LLM only on the finalists. You get accuracy without runaway AI costs.
Pure SQL. City and preferred-cities, minimum experience, salary overlap, employment type, and (if specified) gender. Rules out non-fits in milliseconds — no AI tokens spent.
Each candidate and job is embedded by OpenAI's text-embedding-3-small (1536 dims). pgvector cosine similarity ranks candidates 0–100 based on how close their profile is to the role.
Claude (Sonnet 4.6) writes a recruiter-style brief on the top 5: strengths, gaps, and a final score. Admins see this before deciding what to release to the company.
